What happened

In its analysis dated 15 October 2026, a third-party research provider said Kalpataru's technical trend had moved from mildly bearish to bearish, with selling pressure seen as intensifying. The same analysis said key momentum indicators, including MACD, moving averages and the KST indicator, pointed to higher downside risk.

The provider's rating on the stock was downgraded from Sell to Strong Sell on 12 October 2026, according to the source. The 15 October analysis itself does not state the downgrade date.

The rating is a market-based technical and quality assessment. It is not a credit rating and not a statement from the company.

The technical picture

The provider said the combination of weak quality metrics, a high valuation, mixed financial trends and bearish technical indicators suggests the company may continue to face headwinds in the near term. Earlier in September, the same provider linked the stock's weakness to high debt and weak profitability ratios.
