According to HR Katha, he began his career in hospitality as assistant manager at Neel International from 1995 to 1999, then as assistant personnel manager at Grand Hyatt Delhi from 1999 to 2005.
CXO Digital Pulse gives a different sequence for the mid-2000s. It says he joined MGF Developments Ltd. as Assistant General Manager – HR in 2005, and continued with Emaar MGF as General Manager – HR in 2007, a role it says he held until 2016.
He holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Himachal Pradesh University and an MBA in Human Resources from the All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi, according to HR Katha.

The same report said the company launched the first phase of the project at Rs 8,500 per square foot and that Krisumi City now commands around Rs 24,000 per square foot.
