Location and road connectivity
Rasoolpur village lies in the Kharar area of Mohali district. The Mohali IT City–Kurali Expressway is the main new road link in the area. It is a six-lane, access-controlled Greenfield corridor of 31.23 km that starts at IT City Chowk. Vehicles can travel at up to 100 kmph on it. The route is open to traffic, and the developer's description of it says it can cut travel time by up to 45 minutes.
Inter-state traffic that does not need to enter Mohali or Kharar can use the expressway as a bypass between IT City Chowk and Kurali. A toll plaza has been set up at chainage 19.600 near Bajheri village. The Mohali International Airport Chowk is named as an interchange on the Mohali–Kurali route.
A metro extension to the PR7 corridor or Kharar was at the proposal and discussion stage as of June 2026. It is not an operating line.
