Funding and the developer

Of the ₹260 crore, ₹100 crore will come from internal accruals. The remaining ₹160 crore will come from institutional funding from ICICI Venture Fund, Bajaj Finance and AU Small Finance Bank.

Platinum Corp was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Mumbai. According to a company announcement carried in January 2026, the company has developed over 1.75 million sq ft and housed more than 1,500 families in delivered projects. It has set a target of 3.5 million sq ft in prime western suburbs and revenue of ₹3,500 crore.

What it means for buyers

What it means for investors and the market

For investors, the plan rests on a mix of internal cash and bank and non-bank lenders. About 62% of the total ₹260 crore would come from outside lenders. The projects are still in progress, so returns depend on sales and collections over the coming years.

The projected GDV of over ₹1,350 crore is a company estimate of total sales value across the four projects. It is not a revenue or profit forecast.

Road and transport context

The Versova and Khar area is linked to the planned coastal road network. On 2 August 2026, Union Minister Piyush Goyal set a target of December 2028 for the Bandra-Versova-Bhayander Coastal Road, with March 2029 as an outer target. The Versova-Bhayandar section has started after receiving approvals. Platinum's management has linked expanding transport and civic infrastructure to wider residential demand.
