Devanahalli Locality Context

Today, Devanahalli is North Bangalore's aerospace, IT, and airport hub. The town is anchored by Kempegowda International Airport, the 400-acre Devanahalli Business Park, the KIADB Aerospace SEZ, and the ₹1,500 billion BIAL IT Investment Region.

Foxconn's ₹21,911 Cr "Project Elephant" iPhone assembly campus is operational ~7 km away, the 950-acre Bangalore Aerospace SEZ houses Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier and 50+ OEMs, and the 3,117-acre Devanahalli Special Investment Region anchors the next 10–15 years of organised industrial growth.

NH-44 (Bellary Road) is ~5–8 km away, Namma Metro Blue Line Phase 2B opens through 2026–27 (Hebbal–Airport section June 2027), and the Special Investment Region notification anchors the next 10–15 years of organised industrial growth.

Project Significance & Market Impact

Airport-led urban developments such as Delhi's Aerocity and Hyderabad's GMR Aerocity have already demonstrated the potential of combining office spaces, hotels, retail, and entertainment within airport-adjacent districts. Bengaluru currently lacks a comparable integrated airport city hub.

The development is expected to catalyse economic growth, business tourism, investment and employment opportunities in the rapidly evolving airport corridor.
