APCRDA Allots 76 Returnable Plots to 33 Farmers via Transparent E-Lottery in Amaravati
The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) on Saturday allotted returnable plots to farmers who voluntarily pooled their land under the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) for the development of Amaravati through a transparent online e-lottery held at its office in Rayapudi. Transparent Process with Trial Run
The e-lottery was conducted in the presence of beneficiary farmers after a trial run of the online randomisation process for residential and commercial plots to ensure transparency. APCRDA Additional Commissioner Kollabathula Karthik distributed provisional allotment certificates to the beneficiaries.

Village-wise Distribution
Village-wise, 38 plots were allotted to 19 farmers from Penumaka, 14 plots each to three farmers from Krishnayapalem and nine farmers from Nowluru-2, seven plots to one farmer from Kuragallu-1 and Kuragallu-2, and three plots to one farmer from Nowluru-1.
Land Pooling Scheme Context
Out of 54,000 acres procured for Naidu's dream project Amaravati, 34,281 acres were pooled from nearly 30,000 farmers from 29 villages. They were promised they would receive 800 to 1,200 square yards of residential land and 100 to 450 square yards of commercial land in the layouts developed by the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA).
This July 2026 allotment is one of several ongoing e-lottery rounds to fulfill those promises made more than a decade ago.
Next Steps: Registration and Land Demarcation
Provisional certificates were handed over by the Additional Commissioner, while officials urged farmers to complete registration and await GIS-based land demarcation support. Special Grade Deputy Collector (Capital City), APCRDA informed the beneficiaries that they should complete the registration of the allotted plots at the earliest, and GIS personnel and village surveyors had been deployed to assist farmers in identifying the exact geographical location and boundaries of their respective plots.
