What Happened: Progress Review with Singapore
The review was held at the Secretariat in Amaravati with senior officials and representatives from Singapore present. CM Naidu stressed strengthening Amaravati's economy to create large-scale employment opportunities, with the Singapore team presenting the project's scope, implementation strategy and action plan. The team informed the CM that the plan covers area development, infrastructure planning and investment models.

Naidu asserted that the Integrated Master Plan for Amaravati is being designed as an inclusive capital city where people from all parts of the state can come to work and live together. Land Pooling Scheme Phase 2 (LPS-2) Scale
The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet on November 28, 2025 approved the second phase of land pooling in Amaravati, under which 16,666 acres will be acquired in seven villages through the APCRDA. The second phase started in December 2025, receiving land documents for 16,666.57 acres of patta and assigned lands across seven villages. In contrast, the first phase saw farmers voluntarily pool 34,000 acres within just 58 days.

The Andhra Pradesh government signed an MoU with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) to promote inclusive and sustainable urban development, formalized between the AP Municipal Administration Department and UN-Habitat with Executive Director Anaclaudia Rossbach participating virtually. The partnership aims to establish a Centre of Excellence for Urban Affairs in Amaravati as part of the state's SURGE AP, RISE AP and UPLIFT AP initiatives, focusing on urban poverty alleviation, improving livelihoods for the urban poor and promoting inclusive city development.
Under the MoU, Andhra Pradesh and UN-Habitat will work together on strategic urban planning for regional economic growth, climate-resilient and sustainable urban ecosystems, digital governance, municipal finance and the achievement of UN Sustainable Development Goals.
